WEEK THREE (3) JOURNAL ENTRY FOR U13LS2003
I gained the conceptual mening of the followings:
sociology as the study of man and how he interacts within his community according to thier values, cultures, traditions, beliefs, norms and even religion. also phones are considered to be a mode of social informatics.
I also benefitted from the meaning of sociology of knowledge as the study of the social relationships between human thoughts and the social cotext within which it arises and the effect of the prevailing ideas have on the society.
1. social behaviour: is the behavviour directed towards society or talking ce between members of thesame species.
2. emperical investigations: (Research) is the way of gaining knowledge by means of direct and indirect investigations observation or experience.
3. critical analysis: (Thinking) is a way of deciding whether a clain is true, partially true ar false. critical thinking is a process that leads to skills that can be learned, mastered and used.
4. social action: refers to a act which takes into account the actions of and reactions of individual or agents.
5. social strucctuure: is the patterned social arrangements in society that are both emergent from deterrminant of the actions of the individuals on the structure or on the macro scale.
